I emailed the home education director of our district to ask if I need to do a letter of intent.  She stated if we are homeshooling then we need a letter of intent, but if it is a private school then we don't.  Where do we stand?  We are enrolled in Abeka Academy.  We do the schooling and instruction at home, but it is an accredited program.  They keep the grades and they can be transfered.  It seems to be similar to a private school in some ways, but we are technically HS.

So, my question is do I need to do a letter of intent or do I leave it alone?

I did read through the law listed for our state and we fall into option 2.  Thank you so much for the link!!!!
