Technically this year I don't have to keep track of hours but was going to anyways. I am not sure if it is required in ma but the superintendent uses 900 hours/180 days as a comparison. My dd will have 6 classes @ 40 minutes a piece and we were going to work for 4 hours a day m-f with Saturday and Sunday as "off days" at least in the beginning. But how do I figure out how many days we will work for the year? My mind has hit a complete blank. Thanks ladies and does this sound ok any input would be much appreciated I am a newbie when it comes to homeschooling.

You are more than covered. If you take 5 days a week x's 4 wks which ='s 20 days x's 12 months, that ='s to 240 days. I think your hours are covered.   And you can ask all the questions you want to and need to. :)   We love to help.
