We went and checked out a small museum in my small town...and boy was it boring lol.
There was a quilt exhibit going on...my dd just kept saying "Why are there so many blankets?"  I tried to tell her about each one and she couldn't care less.

Think we'll stick with the ROM in Toronto :P

how old is daughter?maybe you can make a small quilt together, and she'll get the idea, did you do any talking about quilts and what they are before you went, history of them? anyone in your family make them?

She's only 3.5
We just went on a whim I had no clue what they had going on.
Nobody in my family cares about quilts lol

Aww ~ Was she too bored?  Was there anything else there that she did like?

She wanted to go home. There was a section of war memorabilia and a pioneer section then a small photography gallery.
It was just too dull for her.
We just went to a children's museum 30 mins away and she loved it, so Im sure she was just expecting that sort of atmosphere.

Yep, she was looking for something different. Something more bent towards her viewpoint in life.

Awww ~  That is great! At least she didn't get turned off museums altogether.

She told me after dinner she wanted to go back to the museum with the snakes (the children's one).
I had never been to our local one so I didn't know what to expect

Yep we've had some trips like that too.  Sometimes I come up with this idea that I think is just out of this world amazing and my kids are like "OK Mom" (rolling eyes).  lol.  I guess we live and learn, maybe in a couple of years you can try the same museum again.

LOL, always cracks me up when things like that happen.  Better for me to laugh about it than be upset about.  :)
