We start tomorrow. I purchased a Learn At Home K Grade book and I'm following that. I'm doing the art projects, which is have them make their name out of play-doh and bake it so they can keep it. We'll also be glueing beans on contruction paper in the shape of uppercase and lowercase letters. We'll be doing poem reading, and Im going to ask them to make up their own line for the poem. We are also going to make an "All About Me" book. It's labeled as social studies for K in the book. For language we're going to talk about what makes them special. The book I have sets out Reading, Language, Math, Science, Social Studies and Gross/Fine Motor skills in weekly activities so I'm taking most of the ideas from there.

we are focusing more on reading right now. its what i feel the hardest subject to teach to them. Once they start reading the world will open up to them. Ive shown a few majic school bus shows on weather. I think the end of this week i am going to do planets so i can prepare for nexts weeks adventure on contanants where i will have them make a passport and we travel to different ones and do colorings and maybe a project about each. one place a day. But this week we are continuing on switching reading program.
