Elementary Chemistry kit recommendation?

9yo DD has been asking to do science experiments using colored fluids, test tubes etc.

I saw some kits on toysrus.com but I imagine they are pretty cheap. Can anyone recommend a good kit (perhaps glass rather than plastic? not necessary, just a thought)? I know we could just as easily use things in the kitchen but she is really interested in the "lab" setting. We just finished exploring things found in science labs btw.

Try looking on amazon.com, you just might find what you are looking for.

I can't answer that but it does sound like fun. I like the idea.
