Quoting Boobah:
2 of my girls are sick so ill be taking care of them and trying to do laundry
:( hope they feel better.
The plague's been going around our house, too. Thankfully, DS is well over his and DD is definitely on the upswing. Whew!
Today I'm going to consider how much work it is to write a study guide for history. DD blew off another test last week and tanked it. I know she read the chapter, but very little of it stuck. It occured to me yesterday that study guides have always helped her retain information. Der. Now the question is, how big a PITA is this going to be from my end?
We have school
It is also laundry day (first load is already going)
Still need to vacuum the upstairs, didn't get it done this weekend.
And dd(5) and I have appointments to get our hair cut at 1.
I am hoping to sneak out and get some of the Christmas shopping done later today.
Oh and making Pizza for dinner.
Oh and tonight is popcorn and movie night. We didn't get to watch Sophie the First last night,
Waiting on the plumber....yesterday, as the bath tub drained on the second floor, a gush of water came through the garage ceiling...
Finishing the TDay grocery list
Cleaning nooks and crannies, the fridge, and pantry to prepare for TDay
My daughter is sick and will be in bed all day. Little man has a stuffy nose but we'll probably do his school stuff and then I'll work on cleaning up the house
Laundry
I have already cleaned the kitchen living room, bathroom and my room so far and I have also swept and mopped the floors.
We we're suppose to do schoolwork today, but I have sick crappy feeling kids,so there's no use in trying to do any.
I need to finish my Thanksgiving menu.
I have already cleaned the sectional off. This happens everyday.
I need to get some rest, because I have been working overnights since Friday and I'm very tired ,but I really like the job and I get some adult interaction. I'm happy we will have extra extra money and I still will be able to home school the girls.
That's my list for now. I'm off to fix lunch for the kids and take me a long nap while the kids read.
I just had Hannah's conference with her Montessori school and changed her from 6 hours a week to 12 hours a week.
We aren't homeschooling this year.
Next year we will be doing Ohdela.
I just can't do it myself any longer.
I am WAY too stressed and it is effecting Hannah.
Today sucks :(
I'm prepping for our semi-annual board meeting for the co-op tomorrow. And dreaming of all the junk food I can imbibe on Thursday!
