I lost my voice!

I decided to be nice to yesterday and read a book outloud to the family....turns out, it was a bad idea. I lost my voice and can hardly talk at all!! And leave it to be of all days we finally catch up to where we were a month before we took our Christmas break and my daughter doesn't understand a thing again of what we're going over. I can't explain when I can't talk! :(. I tried having my mom explain over the phone some of the things...and I think it just confused my daughter more...

Sooooo does anyone have a good idea on how to explain latitude, longitude, and finding coordinates without being able to verbally explain???  Same with combining sentences.  I can print out all the worksheets in the world, but I can't explain to her what she needs to be doing and the directions are anti-helpful for her.  Any suggestions???
