Hey mommies, I was wondering if there were any hsm in New Jersey or NY and if so what county/area are you from. I am a new hsm, only about 2 weeks into it but we (DS & I) are loving it. I'm so glad I decided to go forth in this with my DS (13yrs..7th grade) my other DS is 17yrs old and he's in the 12th. I wish I would have home schooled him as well, but I didn't :-(
Circumstances and living arrangements pushed me into this position to home school. I am truly happy it happened, it is such a bonding experience and he (DS) looks so forward to our time together, especially when we go to Starbucks!!!! I would love to get together with some other mommies and do it as a group sometimes to learn more from them.
Also, my family and I will be relocating to Greenville, NC soon, in about 3-6 months. WOW!!! that's a whole new chapter, so thanks in advance for your responses and advice.
Most State Home School Associations have groups listed on their websites. New Jersey has 3 State Associations, and North Carolina lists groups on this page
