I love that my children (and myself) are not sleep deprived.
I love that my children value my position as their teacher.
I love that we are cultivating a desire to learn and not to settle for mediocrity.
I love that we choose our associations (social) instead of being forced to endure them.
Dislike constantly second guessing myself and wondering if we are doing enough.
I love that I am the major influence in their lives
I dislike the fact that I never get much of a break from them...I enjoy being with them, but I need a few hours to myself once in awhile.
Good? Nowhere to be in the morning, no exhausted kids fighting against doing homework after being at school all day, watching my kids learn, being with them more, no negative influences.
Bad? My oldest and I really clash personalities, so it can make it hard. I get annoyed easily by the way he acts but it is something I'm dealing with within myself.
I love how anything can be a learning experience. The other day we froze water in balloons & floated them in a tub of water, learning about icebergs
I love how I can gear what we learn to my kids interest. My son loves outer space so we use that a lot in his schooling.
