It was cornbread stove top stuffing.

Quoting kirbymom:

Yay! Stuffing! Was it plain or did you make a certain type of stuffing?

Quoting usmom3:

I baked the chicken made stuffing & mixed vegtables & gravy.

Quoting kirbymom:

Okay. So what did you decide to make?

Quoting usmom3:

Something with chicken thighs. Still searching for a recipe that everyone will at least try.

I love cornbread and stuffing. What is your recipe, if I may ask?

Oh it was just the box of Stove top Stuffing, I have never tried to make homemade stuffing but I can make  good homemade gravy with the drippings from chicken.

I think it might be more savory, but that could also be because I follow a recipe lol.
It uses top or bottom round roast cut up to chunks and coated in flour and paprika, seared, and then set aside. Sautee onion and garlic. 1 bottle of brown ale or dadrk beer, beef broth, molasses, and thyme sprigs. Add the meat back in at a simmer, add in potatoes, carrots, and parsnips to the simmer until the veggies are tender and simmer the liquid down to more of a gravey.
I think I got the recipe off of FoodNetwork.com it's Beef Carbonnade with Vegetables: Belgian Beef Stew.

Quoting kirbymom:

lol That's okay. I was just curious as I have never had Belgian beef stew before.

Quoting No_Difference:

lol I dunno! that's what the recipe is called? lol!! It is made with a dark ale tho, so that maybe?

Quoting kirbymom:

What is the difference between American beef stew abd Belgian beef stew?  :)

Quoting No_Difference:

Tonight we had Belgian Beef Stew.

Oh gosh we had gone shopping and didn't get home until 6:30 so we ended up making home made macaroni and cheese and the girls has soup too. We're making the turkey sausage tonight, with pasta salad and a lettuce salad with fresh veggies.

Quoting kirbymom:

So what did you end up maling?  :)

Quoting blueyedbaker:

Turkey sausage that's as far as I am right now, haven't thought of anything else yet. At least I have time until I have to start cooking!
