We went to Irvine Nature center (MD) for a class on maple sugaring ie how do you make/get maple syrup.
It was $4 per child and we went with a homeschool group from a nearby church.
I learned a lot myself ha ha ha.
It was a really nice day out weatherwise as well.
Perfect cept for all the MUD cause there was some precip the day before.
Pix in replies.

I love leaning new things with my kids, it is great for them to see that Mom enjoys learning even though she is an adult.

yes i took quite a few...so that when we do a review of the trip in diagrams...i can refer to them to help my son with it
Quoting kirbymom:Looks like it was a wonderful and enjoyable trip. You have some nice pictures too.
That's a great idea. :)
Have you thought about making it a lapbook that the kids can go back to and have a memory book. Sort of like a photo album but only this would be for the kids.

i wanna have a folder...and just separate them by subject title...so he can easily go thru it and find whatever as the weeks and months and years go by...so like one major one each year with field trips and or a separate one for experiments..
using one binder/folder with dividers will help us both with organising and locating it lol
