 Depends on the school and class size. I would also have to say that it depends on the child and what they wanted.

Nope. The reasons we homeschool have nothing to do with school. I'm not doing this for academic reasons. I want my children at home where they belong. I may relent and allow my dd to attend a Christian school for a few select classes or a sport once she's in high school, but that would be as much as I'm comfortable with.

 At this point, no.  Private school would not resolve the reasons I homeschool.  My oldest two were in a private school for a year.  We couldn't continue because of cost, but what I found was that my kids were behind once we got to public school. After talking to several others who had pulled their kids from this private school, I found out that they had the same problem. :(
