1 mom liked this

What my DH referrs to as "Mommy's Porn" lol, aka romance novels, sci-Fi novels, mystery novels, etc. I read every single day for at least a couple of hours, sor else I'd go bonkers.

You know, spending some time with mu hubby is one of my bigger de=stressers that I love to utilize for relaxing. We will watch some movie or show together too. I love that time so much.

Quoting Pukalani79:

I like to read when I have the time.  I'm supposed to be learning how to weave, so that will be a destresser for me once I figure it out (in theory).  I play the piano sometimes too.  At the end of the day, my husband and I will find a show and just sit together and chill.  It's kind of a nice quiet way to wind down.

You should. You might like the writing style.

Quoting Precious333:

not off the top of my head. I will have to look it up!

Quoting kirbymom:

I like christian stories myself.  Have you ever heard of June Masters Bacher? Or Janette Oke?

Quoting Precious333:

so many! lol I hik it depends on the writer. I tend to stick to Christain themes though. I like true stories, stories that have meaning behind them, books that applicable to me today.....so many different genres :) (no horror ec.)

Quoting kirbymom:

I love reading. What is your genre that you like the most?

Quoting Precious333:

Gardening or taking a walk in nature. Reading outside :) talking with friends

This way of find a relaxing time is all too familiar.

Quoting No_Difference:

Lately, sadly it is just hiding in a dark room in complete quiet...
Normally, it is reading a book, sometimes even playing games with the kids.
My favorite way tho is to go running. I just haven't been able to in years since I haven't had anyone to watch the kids for me for a few hrs so I can go for a run. The treadmil just doesn't cut it :(.

Oh Andrea! That is some detail! Wonderful. :)

Quoting irvinehiker:

I love to do counted cross stitch.  It's like therapy for me.  I have to take at least a little time everyday to work on a project or I turn into a crazy lady.

This is a project I completed awhile back and I STILL have to frame it.  :)

I think that a good workout AND a margarita would be beneficial! :)

Quoting Jinx-Troublex3:

Karate class! A good workout or walking my dog.

Sometimes reading or a bubble bath

Margaritas!
