Give Me Your BEST Socialization Response

So, I still trying to find a clever, nice-nasty response to all the socializtion questions. Even my friends and family members who are teachers and witness the horrible treatment of student by classmates and even their teachers claim they are better off in this environment.

Please give me your BEST response to someone implying your child(ren) will be weird if they don't attend conventional school.

Thanks in advance!

Well, it's difficult for me to tell them as my aspie son is all up in their face and telling them about something. LOL

One answer is that "I'm HOMESCHOOLING him/her not putting him/her in solitary. Biiiig difference."

My favorite response was one that my DD came up with a couple of years ago. I believe it was in response to a girl at Girl Scout resident camp who told her that homeschoolers suck because they have no friends and never leave the house. DD's response was "If I never leave my house you must be talking to my hologram".....and then she walked off

"Aren't you worried about socialization?"

"Oh absolutely! It's one of the reasons we've decided to homeschool!"

We go with,"I tried the public school route. They learned to curse in three languages and to fight or be a punching bag. I brought them home to break them of these habits and teach them useful skills!"

I have always socialized my son by going to parks and activities. He's always had friends. I've never relied on schools/daycares to socialize him. I always wonder what people do before their kids are in school. Do they just hide them in their homes all day?
