Handwriting Without Tears?

My son used HWOT for K but he has some delays at the time and he basically sat there and cried. We have dealt with the delays, and he really needs to get caught up in the handwriting department. My daughter is moving along with handwriting but I am not happy with the results of me just showing her.
I am considering using a large part of the summer to focus on writing our letters the correct way. I am thinking about using HWOT...I already have the teachers book and would just need the student workbooks.
Have you used HWOT? Did you like it?
Are there any other handwriting courses out there that might work better?

I really like it. Take the time to watch all the videos they have on their website that are at or around your sons level. Invest in a chalkboard so that you can do the wet-dry-try activities, etc. I invested in one of their large chalkboards (about 12 x 24 inches with the two lines in the middle) and have used it for printing and cursive with all of my kids.
