I made a neat chore chart :) (and used my laminator for the first time)
I have wanted to make a picture chore chart for my daughter who is 4.8 years old. I also wanted to make it seem fun for her as well. My husband bought me a laminator for Christmas and I haven't used it yet. For some reason I thought it would be a lot more complicated than it is LOL. I didn't realize it required basically no work to laminate something. This could be bad though because now I will go through thermal sheets like crazy!!! Anyway I printed off and laminated some coins of different quantities. For the purpose of her chore chart I just cut out the dimes and quarters. In one of the cups holds all the coins for the day (the cup on the left). The other cup is empty. When she completes a chore she has to pick out the correct coin and put it in the other cup. At the end of the day (when I get home from work) I will trade out her plastic coins for real ones for her piggy bank. Also she will need to count her coins and write the amount she is owed on the other laminated sheet on the right.
This is my setup :)
