couldnt find it so i'll post this here

the companies that are not going to change to common core

These companies - listed in alphabetical order in the attached document - intend to remain independent of CCS alignment. They may or may not know of ways in which their materials "align," but they are not interested in promoting any ancillary connections:

I can't see it...I am really interested in finding out if the curric we currently use is going to change and wondering about one that I am thinking about for the future for one of our kids.

What is common core? I saw reviews on Amazon where teachers were discussing their displeasure in it.

from what I could tell when I found out MUS was for sure changing, they're adding a few extra "enrichment" pages, and a few extra pages in the instruction books to I guess help explain it "better"...basically their words. Otherwise, everything else was supposidly the same. It is one program I'm going to continue to use since their samples of "what has chaged" didn't seem changed lol

1 mom liked this

Sometimes the change is in just the order of teaching. Sometimes the change is NOTHING as the curriculum already EXCEEDS the common core. I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater on this. The common core may not be good, but it isn't evil personified.
