Homeschooling Moms Homeschooling Moms

I want to HOMESCHOOL my child. :-((

I live in P.R. They are making it very difficult to even get information about homeschooling. They say every child belongs in school. My daughter has a condition. She doesn't speak spanish. The way she is passing is because I attend class with her. That was their solution to this situation. I translate all the work for her. But I feel I could be helping her more at home. She functions better in small settings. But does better on one on one. Please HELP.

I'm actually getting a hard time from them. They rather have me sit in the classes all day then help me get information for Homeschooling. Thank you for your support.

sorry, some one already gave that to you.   I think you shouldn't have too big of a problem.  Of course the school won't help you leave public school.  They probably feel very strongly about public schooling.

This page has Puerto Rico specific info. Your school was wrong. You don't need a degree. https://sites.google.com/site/tchersprusvi/homeschooling-faq
