Has anyone used Voyages in English or Math Mammoth?

I am planning to homeschool this coming school year, at first I was going to use Abeka because my MIL teaches at a private school and she really loves the Abeka program.
I came across Voyages in English and Math Mammoth looking around one rainbow resources and was wondering if anyone has used them.

Math mammoth has videos on YouTube. I really like what I have seen of it.

We're going to be using Math Mammoth once we finish our Saxon math curriculum. I like its short lessons(great for my ADHD son), no frills approach. Each booklet( I downloaded my curriculum, if that matters) has internet links to other lessons and activities to make it fun and more informative. I'm really hoping he likes it as much a I do :)

We use math mammoth and have had a good experience with it so far my kids have each gone through a year and a half of it. It's good at breaking down the why the math works and also has plenty of practice with the how.  It's also pretty easy to skip through if the kids pick it up quickly. There are a lot of problems on each topic and we usually only do every other unless they need extra practice.

I like Math Mammoth beacuse it's cheap and gives me something to build on. My DD doesn't do well with workbooks/worksheets but I use the problems in Mammoth on our whiteboard and she does fine. I could come up with my own problems/answers and figure out what sequence to do things in... but buying Mammoth is easier. I have enough going on with three kids (two of which are under three) lol.

We use the light blue series and started with 1a and 3a. Now they are on 2a and 4a.

Math Mammoth's PRE common core version was fantastic. I'll not comment on the new version.

We use the old 1950's (Catholic) version of VIE. It's good, solid, grammar instruction. No frills. It gets the job done. I haven't use the new secular version, if that is what you are talking about, lol.

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff: we have traditional gender roles, we're Catholic, I'm Libertarian, he's Republican, we're both conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee
