I am wanting to get a felt board to use with history/Bible this year..I'm considering making my own. Not sure if making it myself is worth it.
who uses one?
did you make it or buy it?
Was it worth the time to make it vs buy it?

That is a neat idea.   I'm thinking I should do something like that.   Sorry, no experience here, but I would probably make it a craft project for my older two... that would be fun!

I have never used felt boards but I would think it would be fairly simple to make.  I looked up prices and it would be a ton cheaper to make rather than buy.

I have compared the prices as well. It would definitely be cheaper..but I am concerned how long it would actually take to make each of the individual pieces.

I took a 30x24 corrogated plastic political sign that was laying around and covered it with black felt on both sides. It took half a yard. I used a tacky glue to secure it. It cost less than $2 to make :-)
