Did you have fun?  I'm in Ohio and our Renfest is in the fall: http://renfestival.com/index.php?page=dates-activities  I'm signing my daughter up this year.

Did you dress up or wear street clothes?  We've always dressed up for the festival but have never been to a student day.

We wore street clothes. Didn't have the $$ for costumes. Student day was a different experience. It was pretty crowded but not unbearably so. The demonstrations/acts were all PG. Still had comedy but not the really dirty stuff. No kissing wench. The educational/PG demonstrations were still very entertaining.

I'm in Ohio, too! Love the Renaissance Festival. We have not done a student day, yet.

Our costumes are just the oldest-looking dresses we have,  the girls' hair swept back, and our best cockney accents. :)  We don't look out of place but we definitely don't look like we just hopped off stage either.

Thanks for the info on the demonstrations.  We always skip the wench acts, though last year we did watch the Mudde Show, even though it was (literally!) dirty of course. :)

Awesome!  I'm in a Cincinnati group and may send a shout out this summer to see if anyone wants to join us for a student day.  I can send you the info too if you'd like.
