We are under an umbrella school and are only required to report attendance quarterly.

I chose number one. In Ohio, we either test or do a portfolio each year.

I chose number one, but it's OR not AND. We can have an eval of a portfolio done by a certified teacher or we can do a standardized test. Neither needs to be handed in but we have to keep it on file for two years.

This will be our first year having to apply for approval to homeschool so we'll see how the year goes

I chose number one. For me it's OR not AND and we do the portfolio instead of testing.

Other.

We are required to keep attendance, teach core subjects, and register with an accountability association (NOT an umbrella school) - the accountability association takes my name and our information.

That's it. We aren't required to test or submit portfolios.

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff: we have traditional gender roles, we're Catholic, I'm Libertarian, he's Republican, we're both conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee

Next year we will be leaving the virtual public school.  I will have to figure out what we will have to turn in, but I know what I have to do to get started.
