My favorite curriculum provider is Heart of Dakota.

I like Apologia for elementary science and Christian Light Education for math.

I like aBeka for health.

We use a lot of living books otherwise.

We like Math U See and Life of Fred for math

and Evan Moore dailies for Spelling and Grammar/Punctuation.

We like the Story of the World and National Geographic Kids' Atlas for History/Geography.

Other than that, we do our own thing.

I don't have a favorite because sadly, in 6 yrs of homeschooling, I have very rarely found anything I'd use again. I have changed their curriculum every single year, sometimes in the middle of the year if it was bombing badly enough. Probably the only constant has been the McGuffy readers, old school type readers that have been around for 150 yrs.  I started using them in K and have used them off and on all the way through nearly jr high. They really suit my youngest who is just a no-frills kind of guy.

Golly, I have lots, lol!

Language Arts: Writing With Ease (workbooks), First Language Lessons for the Well Trained Mind, Apples and Pears Spelling (for dyslexics), Galore Park

Math: Math Mammoth (mastery), Horizons (spiral), Tabletclass (prealgebra and up), CLE (spiral)

History: Catholic Schools Textbook Project books, Memoria Press books, Story of the World series

Science: Behold and See series (Catholic), Holt Science and Technology (secular), Galore Park, Ellen McHenry (love, love, love!)

Memory: Classically Catholic Memory

Religion: Catholic Heritage Curriculum, Seton

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff: we have traditional gender roles, we're Catholic, I'm Libertarian, he's Republican, we're both conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee
