So if you live in a no regulations state; can you have your kids tested by the school district? Like in Indiana there are no regulations but they do the ISTEP 2, 5, 8, and then 11, 12 for the diploma. So if I wanted to see where my kids are; could I?

I don't know about in your state but here in Texas if you want to have your child take the state test you can buy then from the Board of Education to administeryourself. As far as having the school give it to them I think that is up to the individual school districts.
