This week, ds (12) will be learning: more on exponents and percents, more about Sumer and Mesopotamia, how to analyze and interpret a science experiment, and some new vocabulary and spelling words. He will also have classes (ages 12+) on "Math in the Natural World" (at a nature preserve), "Woodland Ecology" (at a science museum), parkour (at a gymnastics academy - this has a few younger kids), theater arts (at a local theater), and religion (his last CCD class for the year).
Ds1 has researched China and will be writing a paper and putting the finishing touches on his Alabama state lapbook. He has finished all his other work for the year. We have 3 more days of school left before our summer break.
Ds2 is working on the letter Ll.
This week I am going to be working with him on finishing up the last of his math and language arts. :)
We're doing a sort of relaxed letter of the week thing :) Eating A snacks, reading A books, singing A songs, etc. Lots of fun!

We are going to be researching & designing our own carnival games to be made for a "Carnival Day" we want to have during our vacation week that is coming up at the end of June.
This is our last real week of school, so we're just catching up and covering a few missed skills, and finishing up reading Caddie Woodlawn together.
