My daughters are young, 6 and 8. Today, for engineering, we built a simple sailboat. I love watching them follow directions and problem solve. Then, they decided the bathtub would be much better to use than a sink. After that, "mom, can we puhleeeaaaazzee play in the tub with the sailboat??"
Earlier this week, they got to spend the entire day helping us plant our garden. They worked hard, learned a lot and had a great time.
Today, my 8 year old completed a math book and was jumping up and down with excitement and pride. She got to do her high pitched scream that makes your eardrums hurt!
I love watching the lightbulb go on, when they finally get something. I enjoy working through problems they are having with school until that lightbulb lights up!
Thanks for listening :-)
