Being technically her kindergarten year I am going to try for more consistency. But I still don't plan on absolutely requiring it.

I'm trying a sort of block schedule over the summer. I only just ironed it out last night so we haven't tried it yet. We'll do reading, writing, math, and sonlight reading every day, 4 days a week. Then our last subject of the day will be different each day. One day science (astronomy right now), one day geography, one day on critical thinking and logic games, and one day for languages (we do asl and Spanish). If this works over the summer then I will have to change a little in the fall when we start SOTW. I will probably drop the critical thinking day and do just a little of that each day. It's her favorite and can be done in just a few minutes at a time. I'm hoping this allows us to keep all our subjects (she doesn't want to drop anything any more than I do) but not feel like we have so much each day or like things are getting neglected.
