"If the child cannot learn in the way we teach...we must teach in the way the child can learn."
That sounds absolutely fabulous!
Quoting Boobah:We are reviewing math. So we decided to do math u see over the summer. She did alpha in about 6 days just for addition/subtraction review, and we moved on to beta. I just want to be sure her facts are known before we start gamma in the fall.
No other real lessons besides just having fun. Talking about stars, solar systems, camping, nature, weather, gardening, going to museums, zoos, field trips etc.
Quoting somuchlove4U:It's very lite. We are focusing on her problem areas.
I forced the kids to take june off so that i could do the remodle of DD room. but we start back 2nd week of july
You start back in July when does you school year end? If you don't mind me asking.

That sounds really great.
Quoting RheaF:We start our new year on Tuesday. We have co-op on e a week from Sept-April, only schooling 4 days a week. So we have to school year round. It works well for us though.
