we use e-books as well as real books for all kinds of reading.

Amazon kindle store has the Kite readers & sometimes they are free to get.

We use both.  My girls can't keep their hands off of books.  My 5 yo will read anything anywhere.  It is funny when people see her reading.  She is so petite with such a large vocabulary and the ability to read just about anything.

We use both too.  It just depends on the book, how much the cost is and so on.  We tend to purchase our ebooks from either Amazon or B&N and we have apps for both on our tablet and computers so we can read the books on more devices.
