Hey friends.  I decided to start a group for ladies that are planning on natural burials or are truly interested in it.  Want to share what I know and learn from others  :-)  Just wanted to share with you.

Sorry,  for people.  I assume all animal burials are natural.  There may be some people that would embalm them or something.

Thank you, I wasn't sure since I have known some people that have had their animals stuffed to make them as life like as possible so that it feels like they still have their pets with them.

I have a couple of links to share...first there's a new documentary film called Furever that talks about exactly how people remember their pets.  http://fureverfilm.com/  Check to see if there are any upcoming screenings in your area.

Second, there's a company I work with (full disclosure) called Eternal Reefs. We facilitate families putting a loved one's cremated remains into a gigantic reef ball, lower it to the ocean floor and create a sustainable good-for-the-ocean living underwater memorial. Marine life grows nearly immediately and it's a way people can continue to give back environmentally after they die. Pets can be put in too.  Check it here:  http://www.eternalreefs.com/  You can see lots of pics at the site.
