We have the worst luck. OT

Posted by   + Show Post
In December, dh rear ended a lady who stopped quickly in the rain. His car got totaled, we got all that taken care of.

We have been getting ready to build a house. Finally had the house plan chosen, price negotiated, financing getting started and my dad (who owns the land) decided not to do it, yesterday.

And this morning, DH was on his way home from work, and someone rear ended him.

I'm going to need lots of thoughts and prayers to get through the events of the last two days, so if anyone is feeling generous, we could use them!

Bad things happen in 3s, right? So that's 3. You're bad luck is done, I will wave my magic wand...or at least send good thoughts and prayers. Remember "this too shall pass." I certainly know how you are feeling, and it will get better! How disappointing though, the house thing has to be such a huge let down after starting to get excited (been there with trying to buy a house...every time I think we are getting close it always falls through...we will never own a house at this rate!).

Have some chocolate, or wine, or a nice bath, give your kids lots of hugs, and you'll start to feel better.

After what we have been through, even if he does, I am done. He has gotten us built up several times, only to tear us down each time. This was the final straw.

Maybe your dad will change his mind back?

That is what I am telling myself Debbie. It will come. :)

He said he is tired of dealing with everything. He gets really impatient, and if things don't happen as fast as he likes them to, he gets bored and moves on to something else.

awww nikki, i will be praying for you and family,

did dad say why he chose not to do it?  I bet the lord has something better for your family.

Yes! We are so grateful that Kevin came out of both accidents completely unharmed. The car is just scratched from what we can tell. He is getting it checked over Monday to make sure nothing underneath happened.

Here are some positive thoughts & good vibes to help you out!

I hate when bad just keeps happening, I always try to be thankful that it isn't as bad as it could be!
