I'm currently trying out a 14 day free trial of Ooka Island. My DD is 3.5 yrs old and already reading. I wanted to increase her vocabulary and reading skills but don't want to sit with her for hours on end having her read to me.
So far she LOVES it. It's a cute adventure game that is interactive and the kids have to click on letters, sounds etc. It's really holding her attention as it moves quickly and there is something new to do every few seconds.
Really cute so far. I guess they also send progress reports too.
I got the trial from homeschool buyers coop, which is greatly discounted from the orig price.
Just thought I'd pass it on. Looks like a good tool for little ones.
