Its gonna be a long day.  DD is starting her work, since she got up early.  I was looking forward to my quiet time alone this morning, until she came boudning out of her room.  And now she is talking NON STOP.  Mom has not had enough coffee yet.  OYE, its gonna be a long morning.

Good luck!  Maybe she can record herself reading aloud in another room?  :)

Both of mine came in while I was still asleep which is worse than an alarm clock.  6:22 to be exact.  Bouncing off the walls.  I'm on my 3rd cuppa Joe.

Carve out time in the afternoon, set her down to a movie or a bath, so you can have quiet time.

I guess I am mean..I would tell my child it is quiet time and to go back in their room if they had to keep making noise. There is nothing wrong with boundaries IMO...

My oldest was so loud at breakfast I had to remind her that Daddy was still sleeping.  I also told her that if she didn't pipe down I was going to be disrespectful of her while she is sleeping and make lots of loud noise.  I think I made my point b/c breakfast was done without another sound.  I'm not a morning person btw and neither is Daddy.
