Suggestions?

We started homeschooling this year and surprisingly it's going smoothly.  Much better than I anticipated after so many were telling me how hard and awful it was.  However, we bought a boxed curriculum for our 1st year and I don't really like what they sent for our editing book.  We have 4 different books for Language Arts and this is the only one that bothers me.  Does anyone have any good websites for editing?  Thank you

What is an editing book? Is it for learning proper punctuation & sentence structure?

 Other than these symbols: https://my.mhcc.edu/ics/icsfs/proofreading_symbols___abbreviations.pdf?target=802120f7-967c-4d66-b48e-a22e6abed7fd

I don't use anything but their own work to practice editing.

I'm glad everything is going smoothly! I was surprised, too, about how easy most of homeschooling is.

The editing book we have is just paragraphs and then a picture with a description and they are suppose to find the errors.  It's really hard for the age I think.
