What do you think about signing a child up for cooking lessons as a Christmas gift?

Would you do it?  Why/why not?

Does your child cook?

I would.  My 7 year old loves to cook and wants to be on Master chef Jr.  But she needs more practice before she is ready.

We only give three gifts to each kid.   One is always a practical gift.   I think cooking classes would be both fun and practical.

My daughter and son loves the kitchen.. Plus I love it as well. :) So I am the one that teaches them the cooking. I do use or show them alot of cooking books as well

I've taught my kids how to cook and I can pretty much make just about anything.  It would be cheaper to send them to a lesson I'm unable to teach very well and then teach them to cook at home.

I think lessons are a great Christmas gift though.  They can be very beneficial, they are fun and offer a chance for the child to get out and do something they might enjoy.
