I have posted before about being stressed a little with our curriculum with the baby coming and falling "behind" in some things. And I got a lot of great advice on here about it, but I just couldn't let it go (my bad! LOL)
Then the other day, I had a plan. There are certain things that I have to get done before the baby gets here and it seems like with trying to keep up with school, something has to give. About the only subject we are on track with is reading.......everything else is behind by up to two weeks. So my plan......
When PS started we were 4 weeks ahead. I know that we don't have to keep up with PS but for some reason that is how DH likes it. Don't ask me why. So that gives me a month. Once baby girl comes, I will probably take a little time to adjust and then we will do one or two things a day. Just science one day, or a math sheet the next.....the things that have fallen behind. That way, they don't fall totally out of doing school and we will get caught back up to where we need to be.
It also means that I can get the things done that I need to with minimal stress. Only 20 days to go now.....and my list isn't getting any shorter!
Advice, flaws, anyone else going through this?
