This year is going to be tough

I'm thinking about using Easy peasy and then other free things on top of that if needed such as lesson pathways, a web site that has flash cards, and magic school bus. I may also pick up a few work books to have on hand just in case.

Wish us luck. This is going to be rough.

Oh, and OP, enjoy the library.    A fun idea is to pick a theme (say Astronomy?) and explore books and websites dedicated to that.   Make some lapbooks or scrap book style notebooks.    It's fun to do states or countries this way, too.   It's pretty easy to find time lines online and use them as a guide to explore history through the ages.

Pick some poetry about your subject and learn about poetry at the same time.   Have them use the poems to practice penmanship.   Use prose (regular writing) to learn about grammar, punctuation, etc...  have them write letters (like to Nasa if you are doing Astronomy) to put it all together.

Have fun!
