Thanks, me too!

This is by far my least favorite part of the whole thing.  Just get it over with already so we can move onto our normal hectic lives please.  LOL

Good luck!  Hope it all goes smoothly for you!

We are starting week 13 in our curriculum.  We haven't been getting all of the subjects done but I am trying my best to keep it constant.  MNO on Tues(probably my last), Dr appt on Friday, swim lessons on Sat.

Impatiently waiting for Natalie to make the scene.  I hit single digits today and had a scare last night.  Realized how unprepared I feel so getting the car seat installed and my hospital bag packed today......oh and cleaning bathrooms.  For some reason I really want to do this today.  Maybe a sign?  LOL

This is funny to me because LO has been completely enthralled with school buses for over a year. He builds them with Lego and draws them on the driveway with chalk. I told him he isn't going to ride a bus to school any time soon (like, never, Lord willing), and he was so disappointed, until we rode the shuttle at the airport. He decided he likes the car better LOL, but he still loves his die cast school bus and he waves at the school buses that come through our neighborhood.

Well, we went to the art museum last week. We were SUPPOSED to do a project friday, but DS came down with the chicken pox, so that got put off.  We're working on another art project.  I told the kids to pick something to make from our boxes we had sitting around, and they came up with a school bus!  So we're painting some boxes yellow, and I'm going to have them help me design the wheels...bit of a bonus science lesson in there!

We're working on public helpers again, only this time we're talking about things like using 9-1-1.  And we are also working on address and phone number.

Same old stuff for us, except LO has been waking at FIVE so we get a lot more done earlier than usual. We are doing our numbers in a little while. I have to make a macchiato cake today and I really want to just SIT STILL with my coffee before I have to deal with the beagles and outside time.

My kiddos are the same, they hate that they won't ride the school bus...but even if we weren't doing home school, they wouldn't.  I rode the buses here in my county, our drivers are NUTS!

LOL! My high school bus driver is LEGENDARY. She has since passed, but people still talk about her. She was called by her full name, Ms. ____ ____ ____, and even some folks who attended different schools know of her. She was a real maniac on the road!

We decided to make elements of or the whole outfit of several of our costumes, so I still have 3 more buttons to sew on, 10 buttons holes to sew, hat ribbon to sew, tons more question marks to paint for my husband's riddler costume. He is an artist and was going to paint them, but I'm by far the better fabric painter, so I felt sorry for him and took over. LOL  Then, there is also speech therapy on Tuesday, 100 cupcakes to make on wednesday, homeschool Halloween Party on Thursday, then Halloween night ToT, then have to do the walk-through for my sister's new rental for her on Friday. So, with as much work as we have here, and 3 days driving into town, it will be a miracle if we get a weeks worth of any subject done this week. LOL

Exactly.  I think that's the hard part of any transition, is the waiting.  Just get it on and get it over with so I can begin to figure out how to adjust.  :)  The last several weeks for me were always toughest.  She'll be here soon and the waiting will be done.  Yeah!

I was talking to a friend today and she said that it sounds like a lot to her that I have a fear of the unknown.  Like I am all ready for the birth (to me that part is a piece of cake)  It's the whole waiting (like you said) and the trying to figure out.....is this pain it?  What was that?  LOL

I had some stuff going on for about three hours last night and you should have seen DH......he was practically pacing the floors because I wouldn't let him bother our midwife or doula.  I was taking the wait and see attitude.

Fear of the unknown....don't let your friend fool you, we all have that.  That's why there're so many counselors out there and so much support for the next steps we take.  And honestly, when you're waiting for the kid to just get out already, it's hard.  Especially with so many other little ones hanging out.  So much easier on the other side of things, because you're not waiting for something to end and another to begin, you're just getting on with it already.  I have 5, and I can't even tell you how much the patience was gone by 9 days left to go, how much it was just let's figure out how to stuff another life into our lives, how much it was just I hate being pregnant.  And I hate waiting for those twinges to be real.  Keep eating your spicy food and jumping up and down (that works, right?).  :)
