Homeschooling Moms Homeschooling Moms
This is my first year homeschooling my four kids.

September was awesome.

October was a bust, just BAD. I scheduled one week off after a week of insanity.

They don't listen to me. I don't want to tell them not to laugh and play, but the giggeling is disrespectful and a huge speed bump.

I know I can't give up.
I'm not thinking that.
But ... what do I do to keep us all focused?

When Destinay and I are getting frustrated, we usually do a fun unit study, still learning just breaking the monotony of it all. Or we go on a trip to the library, and I do some teaching in there. One thing I noticed about Destinay, is if I leave a folder with things we are working on or have studied in the  past that she can brush up on, and I let her choose what we work on, it tends to go better.
