It's November! What are you doing this month?

Will you teach about the first Thanksgiving? The classic version or one more close to what some see as the truth.?
What classes are you doing?
Crafts? I love holiday crafts!

Those links didn't work for me, I still had to cut and paste, but that information is amazing.  Thank you for sharing it!

i don't know why the link button is always greyed out for me and I can't post active links - but here is some stuff on their website:

you can probably find the books at a local library:

It is a family dinner but that is it. We really don't do anything special beyond what we do every week. We are thankful every day for everything. I am picky about all history that I teach.

We are going to two big field trips. One is the air and space museum and the other is tour of a water treatment plant. We also have culture club this month. My son is doing a presentation on Arabian Ostriches. They are an extinct bird. We are still waiting on our two ostrich eggs I purchased. I will also have my 9 by 6 foot map of the US finished. Yeah! Starting in November I will teaching my Creative Math class. I can't wait. It is going to be so much fun.

My sons will be starting oceanography class soon. They will be touring an incredible placed called aquascapes. They will continuing their studies of computer science, art, and chess at co-op. This is about all we have planned but I am sure more will come up.

We will probably read some books about Thanksgiving, and we usually host the big Thanksgiving dinner at our house, so I should have my son make some cute crafts....just not feeling too into crafts lately...or ever.  lol

DD is 3. We're working on motor skills by playing with puzzles and play dough. We're talking about sharing, kindness and helping. We are trying to broaden the scope of our reading materials to books beyond what she owns; fostering an interest in the library.
