who doesn't like lapbooks? I just can't get seem to get into them. I like unit studies, I just don't like the lapbook process.

The kids and I enjoyed them when they were younger. My kids kept all of theirs and really cherish them. The information really stayed with them too. There is one for geography that we still use.

However, they are very labor intensive and time consuming. Im a very visual hands on learner and so are the kids. So they were a nice fun activity to throw into the mix, but only every so often.

Not a lapbook fan here either! :) Thank goodness I'm not alone!

I found templates for one so we printed out the parts we wanted to use. This was to go along with Little House on the Prairie. It's so tedious. Usually when I read aloud, my kids will draw what they are hearing and we keep it in a notebook. This is the same idea but so much  more work - the printing, cutting, pasting, and all the FLAPS FLAPS FLAPS. :)

Lol - I so love your forthrightness. It is so refreshing.

Quoting AutymsMommy:

Nope, you aren't.

I don't do lapbooks... or unit studies. They irritate me.

I don't think we've ever done one.
