Are you doing any "formal lessons" this week, or taking a break?

We are taking a break from formal lessons, but will do lots of stories, baking and crafts so it isn't much different. Lol

Nope. No break.  We will have a light few days, but vacation isn't until 12th night.

No break here.  But we are taking December off, so it's a bit of a rush to end the math unit, finish our sequencing lessons, test our sight words.  This is actually a much tougher week than the last couple!

We have a very light December with a big focus on advent, st Lucia, st nick, winter solstice, Christmas, cooking, baking, and service. So it may be even more than we normally do. Lol

We are unschooling for December, so very little will be included in our portfolio.  We are baking, making an advent wreath, decorating, writing out cards and all that jazz.  But no math lessons from our workbooks, no writing exercises, and best of all no tests!  LOL  But I am very sneaky because we are totally doing more education than we do during the rest of the weeks! ;-)

Yeppers - we're doing school. Red has school (brick and mortar) until Wednesday I think (and that might be a half day; I have to check the school calendar). Tony is taking a half day Wednesday at the office, so that he can come home early and start our awesome-sauce Gluten Free Thanksgiving dinner... our goal is no cooking, but for heating up, on Thanksgiving - get it all done the day before!

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff:  we're Catholic, we're conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee

No real schooling, but the kids all have to work on their massive book report projects since those are due on the 6th (Happy St. Nick's Day, guys!).  We'll also be doing stories, shows on Thanksgiving, cooking, cleaning, etc.  Lots of stuff, not getting counted.

Happy st. Nicks to you, too!
Sounds like a lot of fun!

We are doing 3 days of school, though they mostly consist of turkey day related stuff.  He is going to learn the history of it and a bunch of other stuff related to it.  He is off th-fri though.
