We have elaborate New Year's Eves.  Since the Christmas hussle is finally all over, I make a pork roast with saurkraut and mashed potatoes.  We carry silver coins in our pockets.  Stay up till after midnight.  and Shoot the shotgun (little redneck, but it's tradition).  We usually watch a movie and play some video games all together until nearly midnight then we light the candles, count down, and kiss as a big family.  It's a squishy fun time trying to get all 5 heads together for a big kiss!

That is what I do, so far I did my cleaning. Now I have to make a point between now and January 2, to go through my worksheets and plan for the next month. I don't celebrate the New Year, to me it is just another day.
