Get back to starting at 8:30!  We ALWAYS did that, but within the last month went from 8:30 to 9:30 to 10:00 (watching CNN - just one more news story!) and end up finishing school around 4:00.  No mas on January 6 when we start back up.

In February I'm going to give the girls the DORA Reading Test that Blue hipped me to.

Make sure to include formal music and art again each week because our books have some wonderful key points that the girls will enjoy.

Let go a little more.  Let the kids guide more and have more say about their day.  Read more and have more quiet reading time.

Start at 9:00 every day.

More science.

Get outside every day, even if it's cold and only for five minutes. EVERY day.

Get outside every day. I really detest playing outdoors. The boys need it though :P

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff:  we're Catholic, we're conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee

Oh, I love this question.

I am really happy with how smooth things have gone so far this school year, so nothing is popping out at the moment. I will have to come back to this post.

Oh my! There are just so many things that I want to do better in, I'm just not sure where to start.

To be a better task master
To stay on point more
To be more creative
To read more with the younger kids.
