Posted by   + Show Post
Good Morning Ladies! Hope your day is a wonderful one.

So tell me, what did/will you eat for breakfast this morning to get those juices flowing?

Quoting KickButtMama:

Gulp, gulp....I'd drink coffee all day every day!

Quoting kirbymom: Ha! Coffee is a brain drink! And an eye opener. :)

Nope, just avocados and bacon.

Quoting kirbymom: Okay. Do you add any seasonings or anything?

Quoting redhead-bedhead:

I just mash an avocado, spread it on a slice of bread then add a ton of bacon and another slice of bread.

I discovered it when I was pregnant with my oldest and now I love it. Avocado is a good substitution for mayo on sandwiches.

Quoting kirbymom: An avocado and bacon sandwich sounds really interesting.
How do your make yours?

Quoting redhead-bedhead:

Today I made bacon and eggs for my husband and kids. I have a bacon and avocado sandwich.

Well, it depends on how you want to make it.

Quick way: Get cinnamon rolls from the store (the kind in a can). Open them up and unroll the cinnamon roll, and let it rest while you do the other stuff.

Whisk eggs with a touch of milk, a dash of cinnamon, and a touch of vanilla. Scramble until JUST done. Remove from heat.

Using maple sausage, cook the sausage until just done (don't over do it), break the sausage apart as you cook, instead of keeping in links.

Mix the eggs and sausage, and spoon onto the rested rolls. Reroll, and bake for time allotted on the packaged.

Better way:

I make the dough (pioneer woman's recipe is best for this). I spread some butter and cinnamon, but very little sugar, fill and roll the same way as before and bake. I will occasionally drizzle with the frosting either way, but they are a wonderful brunch/"treat" breakfast item.

Quoting hipmomto3:

With the cinnamon & sugar? or just the dough itself? Tell more!

Eggs and sausage baked in cinnamon roll dough.
