I have rarely purchased posters. I always end up having so much fun making them with the boys. And it's way cheaper!

I love making them. You can personalize and my kids love waking up to new posters. I do a lot of my prep work for the next day after my 3 are in bed. I consider it my time. :)

                             A Poem About Plurals

We'll begin with a box, and the plural is boxes;
but the plural of ox became oxen not oxes.
One fowl is a goose, but two are called geese,
yet the plural of moose should never be meese.
You may find a lone mouse or a nest full of mice;
yet the plural of house is houses, not hice.
If the plural of man is always called men,
why shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen?
If I spoke of my foot and show you my feet,
and I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?
If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth,
why shouldn't the plural of booth be called beeth?
Then one may be that, and three would be those,
yet hat in the plural would never be hose,
and the plural of cat is cats, not cose.
We speak of a brother and also of brethren,
but though we say mother, we never say methren.
Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him,
but imagine the feminine, she, shis and shim.

I'm making some for my 3yo dd tonight. But I'm using some cards that mil gave her so its just gluing cards to a poster board.

Are these for a co-op that you teach at? Honestly if these are for your children in your own home I find the rules one a bit creepy.

Calling mom teacher and siblings classmates seems a bit creepy to me. Also making your kids raise their hands, really?

I have that rule or they would be grabbing, hugging or poking each other while I am trying to get them to finish their work. Now they try to start arguments so I am about to start a no talking for a week (during school) unless spoken to, so they understand it is a privilege.

I hate doing that but I also hate sending them to their rooms or the wall in the middle of lessons.

I said the rules one, meaning the poster with the rules. I wasn't specifying rule number 1. I find the OP referring to herself as teacher and her children as students a bit creepy.
