Ok so I've been trying to get my 14 y.o ds involved in his homeschooling. I'm always coming up with ideas about what we could do..I showed him a video on youtube about a 13 y.o kid who talks about hackschooling, that was two days ago..my child is now talking about wanting to make paper. and if we bring in something (food) that a has a recipe on it, he wants to try it. My reaction is ummm ok . I figure his idea maybe he will be involved in it.

thoughts?

When I finally threw my hands up in defeat of my pretty curriculum, we started really learning in much the same way as your son! (And that brilliant kid on youtube:))

I would be getting him to help plan & make as many meals as I could. As far as making paper I think there are some easy instructions to do it on the net!
