DDS public school is closed today so that means extra schooling at home. My toddler broke my laptop and the roads are too bad to go to the library.

what are some science experiments we can do at home? I can use my phones internet to get some info on subjects but its not ideal for studying or researching where id need multiple browsers or something. If that makes sense.

She's 6. Learning at 3- 4th grade level. So we need things that are a little advanced or above her age range

We are working on volcanoes. We did geysers with the mentor and diet coke. We soft boiled an egg, cracked it a bit, traced the cracks, then pushed the egg she'll pieces together and talked about fault lines.

Boiled egg? Raw egg? In the shell? What's it do?

You use a raw egg. The vinegar dissolves the shell specifically the calcium. It takes a while but very neat. It has to do with acids and bases.

Volcano using vinegar & baking soda (if you do it in the toilet it will clean the toilet too)!
