For my girls (3rd and 6th grades):

Math lesson, math workbook pages.

Independent reading while the other person is working on math with me.

Social Studies/History lesson.

Science Lesson.

Latin Lesson (I expect more from my 6th grader, but there are tons of good english grammar rules covered each week for both of them.

Handwriting/cursive.

Writing class (again, my 6th grader writes papers that are more in depth).

Fun class rotation: health (ok, that's not as fun but I put it's in the rotation), art, music, gym.

My boys are 9 & 12 y/o

1 hour computer programming at code.org

1-1.5 hours time4learning.com (mostly math & language arts)

30 minutes studiesweekly.com (social studies/history)

30-45 minutes reading a book of their choice.

Science is done at co-op

That's about it.

1 mom liked this

It's just grammar so we're adding a writing program and supplementing reading but we like it so far. It's Fred, so what's not to like? LOL

I will not have a temper tantrum nor stomp across the floor.

I will not pout, scream or shout or kick against the door.

I will not throw my food around nor pick upon another.

I’ll always try to be real good because I am the mother.

I am the mother.

I am the mother.

Me too. But it's been a VERY rough year for us. My DD is in 1st grade, and some days we do great and others, well not so great! I track everything on Homeschool Helper on my iPad and we average 1.5 to. 2 hours work per day. I guess we are closer to unschoolers in a lot of wayd
