Homeschooling Moms Homeschooling Moms

im a mom of 2 and my eldest just turned 3. i am very interested in homeschooling him ut dont know where to start researching what i have to do or need! i understand it takes alot of researching and understanding to do it and considering that it is something soooo important for my childs life  which is his education i wanted to know if anyone could guide me to the right resources to start my research and preparation so when he is ready for kindergarten i can start schooling him! any advise would be great too! please

 You're welcome! I understand the frustration from both sides owning a tablet that won't let me make links clickable & sometimes won't let me copy links that I can't click!

I started when DD was 4. We use the following programs and live them:

RightStart math
Handwriting Without Tears
All About Spelling
Apologia Science
I also have Real Science 4 Kids but like Apologia at the moment
Magic School Bus DVDs books and experiment kits
We have many Who Was books and havr Story of the World but have not started yet

I track what we do by subject but do not have to plan much because those programs are pretty planned out for you

check to see if there is a homeschool expo in your area and possibly a coop or yahoo homeschool grp your library might know
